Dr Hughes is a long-time resident of Western New York. He graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo and did his residency training there. He is board certified with the American Academy of Family Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine. We focus on primary care of adult patients with particular attention to the metabolic complications of obesity.

What we offer:
The office has the capacity to do basic on-site cardiac (EKG) vascular (ABI) pulmonary (PFT) and limited blood/urine testing. We will help coordinate your care should you require more intensive evaluations. We routinely provide first line care for the management of depression and anxiety. We also work closely with behavioral specialists and psychiatrists for patients with more complex care needs.

The office has a provider on call after office hours that can help you decide how to treat an illness after hours or help you decide whether to go to the emergency room.  For medical emergencies you may proceed directly to the nearest emergency room or call 911.  Patients can cancel or change an appointment during regular office hours. If you need to reach a provider after hours, please call (716) 626-5840.
The provider on call will return your call within 30 minutes. If you receive care at an emergency room or urgent care center, please let us know by calling (716) 626-5840 within 48 hours so that you can be assisted with follow up care as needed.
